BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE, YOU SHOULD KNOW- I GO ALL IN FOR MY PEOPLE, my clients. and I WANT TO ATTRACT PEOPLE THAT ARE ALL IN on their wedding as well. i'm not meaning time and money, i'm talking about i want to film the people that are proud of the story they've written together. WEDDINGS THAT SHOW WHO YOU ARE IN THE DETAILS. I'M IN LOVE WITH WHAT'S GENUINE AND personal, NOT PERFECT. THe TYPE OF LOVE you've created IS ONLY YOURS, it is the only love that has ever existed in this way. how cool is that?! WEDDINGS ARE a DAY TO BE LOUD ABOUT how that came to be. a DAY TO GET completely LOST IN gratitude. A DAY OF PRESENCE. MY JOB IS TO NOTICE it all. i want you to watch your film and see familiar, natural interaction. as cheesy as it is, every moment contributes to your storage of memories, and i swear the ones that stick out the most stem from authenticity. trends are beautiful, but i'd love just as much to SEE YOU AT AN imperfect ALTER that YOU BUILT TOGETHER, WEARING YOUR GRANDMA'S VEIL, carrying wildflowers you picked the day of, dirt on your dress from being outside. GET weird, GET DRUNK, tease, CRY, DANCE, START A BONFIRE, get Tattoos, SWIM IN YOUR fancy clothes- CONNECT us all TO the things that make the two of you, you. and that's all i mean. I HOPE THE DAY IS SO FULL OF YOU.

INTENTION.
TAYLOR & NATE
A three day Indian wedding that took place in the forest near Lake Tahoe. Haldi the first day, Sangeet the second, and lastly, the wedding. From the beautiful cultural details to hearing about their 17 year long love story, I wished it lasted an entire week. Click the video above for the shortened version, email me for the extended if you're interested!
Started with an engagement shoot at Amangiri. (Yes, we did cry.) The sky gave us the most romantic, rainy vibes on the day of the wedding, so we last minute moved everything into the french greenhouse of La Caille. A few outfit changes + a few hours of tipsy dancing. It was perfect.
Flew us to a place they'd never been, and the four of us slept next door to each other. We woke up to drizzle, and decided to have a slow morning while we waited for it to clear up. Made tea, opened gifts (including a locket with pictures of their dogs inside!) and they helped each other get dressed for the day. Later as we stared at the crowded Cliffs of Moher, preparing to fight for a spot, Taylor looked at us and said "I think right here is perfect". As they cried through their vows, the sun came out and the waves splashed behind them. Finished the day with a shot at the pub filled with old men singing hymns.
A beautiful, midwest wedding, on a horse farm. A quick, simple ceremony followed by dancing. My favorite moment of the day was at the after party- we ditched for awhile and ran around the streets of the old town. It felt like a scene from the notebook.

Flew from England to Hawai'i. Before the ceremony, they had prepared poems to read, unknowingly choosing the exact same one as each other. Being around people like them reminds me of the most authentic and freeing type of love.
Kaitlyn & Daniel are two of the most intentional people I've ever worked with. Because of this, this is one of my favorite videos I've had the privilege of putting together. They sent me footage from dating, the proposal, and the day after the wedding we gathered at their house to talk about the wedding day itself. We filled their living room with flowers , candles, and centerpieces, and finally ate the cake their guests enjoyed. Old videos of them played on a projector in the background. Quite a poetic night!
